BaSS is entirely run by local volunteers. We get together to organise what’s happening, take decisions about what to focus on, and make it happen. The vast majority of our funding comes from small grants and donations.

Volunteering at BaSS is incredibly rewarding. It’s the quickest way to build connection with your neighbourhood and to experience the joy of building something collectively with others in your community.
